Unfortunately, some dogs like to eat cat poo. I had one dog that this was a problem and we had to locate the litter box in an area where he wasn’t able to get at it. Yuk.

My puppy was the same way. He would go in there and snoop around, then he started eating cat poop, then he started peeing in there himself.
Put up a baby gate so he can’t get in the room the litter pan is in or get a litter box that has the dome over it so the cat can get in but the dog can’t :]

Please kennel train your puppy. It’s to keep him safe when you can’t supervise him!

When you are home, try the umbilical cord training method. It will help with potty training, getting into inappropriate things, chewing and walking on a lead…it will also help you bond closer with your pup.
