Frequently Ask Questions

Is it likely that a person could catch worms if their cat was trained to use the toilet?

Just Me asked:

I'm thinking of literally toilet training my kitten instead of using a litter tray. My only concern is that, once he's willing to use a toilet, will my family and I risk catching worms from him if we share the same toilet seat? My kitten is currently a house cat but I plan on introducing him to the outdoors sometime via a cat harness and lead.

I have a male cat approx. 6 months old. He litter trained quickly (son found him abandded in the woods when ?

me2you asked:

cat was approx. 3 weeks) lately I've noticed the cat is peeing on either my bed or my sons'. I know he isn't spraying (unfixed male) because it doesn't have that male cat spray smell. He doesn't do it all the time. Could he have gone Dirty even though he doesn't do it all the time?
thank you.
